Teaming up with Meals on Wheels to support the Gunnedah community

Whitehaven Coal is proud to have funded the recent purchase of a large industrial fridge for Meals on Wheels (M&W) in Gunnedah. This new fridge will allow the centre to hold and deliver more chilled meals to those in need within the local community.

M&W is a crucial organisation that provides much-needed assistance to remote communities on a weekly basis. Within Gunnedah, the team delivers an impressive 60 meals a day to those who need it most. It’s heartwarming to see the passion and dedication that the M&W team has for their work, going above and beyond their duties to support their community patrons.

Not only do they help their local community, but M&W also works tirelessly to assist other Meals on Wheels organisations in neighbouring communities. Their efforts every day make a real difference in the lives of those they serve.
