Maules Creek Mine supports Movember

It’s the third year in a row that employees at Whitehaven Coal’s Maules Creek Coal Mine have raised money for Movember which supports activities related to tackling men’s health issues.

The team donated $2,359 to Movember this year, with the total raised now in excess of $10,000 over the past three years.

Money was raised by cooking a BBQ breakfast for every crew during the month, with employees donating for every bacon and egg roll. The Maules Creek mine paid for the supplies which were all purchased locally through Boggabri Meats and cooked by the employees themselves.
