In the news: new community office and support for sport
Construction work is well under way for Whitehaven Coal’s new Gunnedah office, with plans to open in April next year.
The Namoi Valley Indpendent report this week that work is progressing on the new building at the former Crazy Clark’s building in Conadilly Street.
The office will be a new location for Whitehaven staff who are currently based at the coal handling and preparation plant outside the town centre.
About 30 employees will work out of the Gunnedah office on a permanent basis in a wide range of roles including planning, environmental and technical services.
