Applications now open for 2017/18 Vacation Employment Program

Applications are now open for Whitehaven Coal’s 2017/18 Vacation Employment Program.

Primarily aimed at Mining, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, the program will run from December 2017 until March 2018.

With an expanding workforce, Whitehaven are looking for intelligent, committed and motivated professionals who value a dynamic culture, have excellent initiative and can think on their feet. We are looking for professionals who value being part of a community and achieving common goals. At Whitehaven our people can and do make a difference.

To promote the program, some of the Whitehaven team attended career fairs at the University of Newcastle, University of NSW and University of Brisbane where students could find out more about the company, the program and future career prospects.
